## About

Established in 1992 by social reformer Dr Bindeshwar Pathak, founder of the Sulabh Sanitation Movement and recipient of the Stockholm Water Prize and Padma Vibhushan, the Sulabh International Museum of Toilets offers a unique glimpse into the history of sanitation. India only space dedicated to water and sanitation, it traces toilets and hygiene from the Harappan civilisation of around 3000 BC through Egypt, Babylon, Greece and Rome to Victorian and Edwardian Britain. The campus also houses the Toilet Tales gallery, the Dr Bindeshwar Pathak Memorial Centre and the Menstrual Hygiene Management Knowledge Hub. Featured by TIME, NDTV and Times of India, the museum sits on a tranquil campus in New Delhi with free entry, free parking and free guided tours.
