## About

The Museum of Folk and Tribal Art, also known as K.C. Aryan's Home of Folk Art, is an undiscovered jewel in DLF Phase 1, Gurugram that houses one of India's most distinctive collections of folk, tribal and neglected art. It was founded in 1984 by the late Mr K.C. Aryan, a renowned modern painter, sculptor, art historian and pioneer collector who wrote 23 scholarly books and dedicated his life to giving these vanishing artefacts the recognition enjoyed by courtly art. Built one man at a time over seven decades, the collection spans bronzes, paintings, metal crafts, papier mache, textiles, terracottas and wood crafts, many of them now extinct elsewhere. It is cared for by his family through a registered trust that continues his mission to preserve and showcase these priceless works for posterity.
