Museo Camera is India's first centre for the photographic arts and the largest not for profit, crowd funded photography centre in South East Asia. It began in 2009 as the personal camera collection of photographer, historian and archivist Aditya Arya, and opened to the public in 2019 through a public private partnership between the India Photo Archive Foundation and the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram. Spread across 18,000 sq ft in Sector 28, Gurugram, it houses a permanent collection of iconic cameras, photo archives and photographic ephemera, three exhibition halls, a darkroom, seminar rooms, a resource library, a patio, a museum shop and the Ingri cafe.
